সাধারণদের কিছুটা স্বস্তি দিতে এগিয়ে এলাম আমরা

এই গরমে দাবদাহ থেকে মানুষকে কিছুটা স্বস্তি দিতে হাইড্রেট ইন্ডিয়া ক্যাম্পেনের অংশ হিসাবে বিজয়গড় পরশ সোশ্যাল ওয়েলফেয়ার সোসাইটি , অ্যাসেট এনজিও এর সাথে হাত মেলালো। ৬ জুন দক্ষিণ কলকাতার রাণীকুঠি, পল্লিশ্রী এবং বাঘাযতীন অঞ্চলে প্রায় ১০০০ পথচারীকে (ট্যাক্সি ড্রাইভার, ক্যাপ ড্রাইভার, রিকশাচালক , ভ্যান চালক, বাস চালক, কন্ডাকটার এবং ট্রাফিক পুলিশকে) ফ্রুট জুস খাওয়ালো। 

এই কর্মকাণ্ডে যেমন পরশের সদস্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন তেমনই এলাকার বেশ কিছু মানুষ নিজেদেরকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে আসেন।

বিজয়গড় পরশ সোশ্যাল ওয়েলফেয়ার সোসাইটির সম্পাদক তন্ময় গুহ রায় বলেন, " আমি অ্যাসেট এনজিওর মনিত সিংকে বিশেষ ভাবে ধন্যবাদ জানাই। তাদের হাইড্রেট ইন্ডিয়া ক্যাম্পেনে আমাদেরকে যুক্ত করার জন্য। তার সাথে আমাদের প্রতি বছর আমাদের তরফ থেকে গরমের সময় পথচারীদের ঠান্ডা পানীয় খাওয়ানোর যে লক্ষ্য তাতে পাশে থাকার জন্য। সবচেয়ে বড় বিষয় হলো কিভাবে আমাদের সদস্যরা এই কর্মকান্ডকে সফল করেছেন, তার থেকে বড় প্রাপ্তি এলাকার মানুষদের আমারা পাশে পেয়েছি। আগামী দিনে এই উদ্যোগ যে নিরন্তর চলতে থাকবে তা বলাই বাহুল্য। জনবল, শিক্ষাবল এবং নির্বাকের বল - আমাদের এই প্রকল্প গুলোতে সবাই যে ধীরে ধীরে এগিয়ে আসছেন তাতে আমাদের মনের জোর আরো বেড়েই চলেছে।" 

অ্যাসেট এনজিওর পক্ষ থেকে মনিত সিং বলেন, " হাইড্রেট ইন্ডিয়া ক্যাম্পেনকে সাফল্যমণ্ডিত করতে বিজয়গড় পরশ সোশ্যাল ওয়েলফেয়ার সোসাইটিকে ধন্যবাদ জানাই। তাদের এদিনের যে কর্মকাণ্ড তা অত্যান্ত প্রশংসনীয়। আগামী দিনে যে আমরা হাত মিলিয়ে আরো বড় কাজ সমাজের জন্য করতে পারব তার জন্য আমরা আত্মবিশ্বাসী।"

To provide some relief to people from the scorching summer heat, Bijoygarh Parash Social Welfare Society joined hands with ASSET NGO as part of the "Hydrate India Campaign". On June 6th, nearly 1,000 pedestrians—including taxi drivers, cab drivers, rickshaw pullers, van drivers, bus drivers, conductors, and traffic police—in South Kolkata’s Ranikuthi, Pallishree, and Bagha Jatin areas were offered fruit juice.

Members of Parash were present at the event, and many local residents also came forward to contribute.

Tanmay Guha Roy, Secretary of Bijoygarh Parash Social Welfare Society, said: "I would especially like to thank Manit Singh from ASSET NGO for including us in the Hydrate India Campaign. Every year, we aim to serve Refreshments to pedestrians during the summer, and we are grateful to have their support. The most rewarding part is not just how successfully our members carried out the activity, but how we had the support of local people. Needless to say, this initiative will continue in the future. The growing involvement of Janabol, Shikkhabol , and Nirbakerbol in our projects is giving us more and more strength.”
